Indonesia official says China not dumping sodium

Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee said Thursday that China was not dumping sodium tripolyphosphate into Indonesia, according to local daily Bisnis Indonesia.

Therefore, the products will not be charged for import tariff of anti-dumping.

"KADI did not charge import tariff for STPP from China, because the accusation had not been proved," said KADI chairperson Halida Miljani.

STPP is used in various applications such as a preservative for seafood, meats, poultry and pet foods. It is also used in toothpaste and as a builder in soaps and detergents, improving their cleansing ability.
